DESCRIPTION:Norwegians and Swedes emigrated to the United States for centuries. At the end of the 19th century\, Kennebunk welcomed large populations (comparatively) of peoples from Scandinavia as a result of the downtown Kennebunk mills seeking workers. Join us for an exploration of local Scandinavian history with Town Historian Kathy Ostrander Roberts\, to learn more!
