DESCRIPTION:Saturdays at 12:00pm (June 3 – November 18; or by appointment during shoulder seasons) \nNOTE:  NO TOUR offered on October 28 \nThis outdoor walking tour of Kennebunk’s National Register Historic District features 200 years of structures and stories (on one street!)\, and shares the stories of the people that lived inside the homes. DESCRIPTION:Mixed Media Assemblage Workshop \nArtist: Elizabeth Winter \nSeptember 30th 2-4pm \n*Adult Art Workshop* \nLevel: Beginner \nJoin mixed media artist Elizabeth Winter in creating your very own assemblage art piece. Ms. Winter will share her artistic process and how to create artwork from inspired objects and materials. This class is a hands-on art class that will use paint and drawing techniques as well as decoupage and other assemblage techniques. This workshop is inspired by Ms. Winters summer Artist in Residency work with the Brick Store Museum; The Dwellings Project: a study of insignificant significant places and spaces in the Kennebunks. The showing of that body of work will be Spring 2024. \nMaterials needed for this class: \n-photographs or copies \n-fabric\, papers\, wood pieces\, maps \n– any materials that hold personal significance \nWhat’s provided: \n-Glue \n-charcoal pencils \n-acrylic paints \n-wood canvas board \n-Additional mixed media materials
