The Brick Store Museum is proud to offer walking tours of the downtown Historic District and Kennebunk Beach. These tours take place seasonally (July – October).
Historic District Walking Tours: Outdoor walking tours of Kennebunk’s National Register Historic District, which feature examples of Colonial, Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival homes, depart from the Museum. Tours last 60 – 90 minutes and cover less than a mile on sidewalks and flat terrain.
Each tour is $5.00 per person and free to Brick Store Museum members.
Tours leave at 11 am on Friday and Saturdays unless otherwise noted. For other times, please call in advance. Unfortunately, there will be no walking tours the weekend of October 21st!
Mothers Beach Walking Tours: Outdoor walking tours of Kennebunk’s Mothers Beach features eleven historic homes and an illustration of life at the beach in the early 20th Century. Tours depart from Trinity Chapel on Woodland Ave. Tours last 60 – 90 minutes and cover less than a mile on sidewalks and flat terrain.
Each tour is $10.00 per person and $5 to Brick Store Museum members. Tours occur at 2:00 PM every Thursday between July and September. Thanks for a wonderful season of Walking Beach Tours – see you next year!

Dogs on a leash are welcome on a case-by-case basis on the Historic District walking tours only. Please call the Museum in advance to check availability. Owners are responsible for keeping his/her dog off of private lawns and making sure that the dog is not a distraction to other tour participants. Please adhere to all pet guidelines as set forth by the town.
Self-guided tours are also available. Simply stop in at the Museum to purchase the Windows on the Past guidebook for $15.95 + tax (locator map included), or just purchase the locator map for $4.95 + tax.
