Past Exhibition

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, with opening shots fired on Fort Sumter on April 12, 1861. Taking Up Arms displays several artifacts from Kennebunk men who fought in the Civil War, including Colonel Corning's uniform, Seth Bryant's sword and pistol, and Isaac Emery's band-leading cornet.
