
The Museum offers it Program Center at 4 Dane Street for business-related events, in accordance with Museum guidelines and subject to availability. With a flexible auditorium layout and theater-style seating for comfortably up to 65 people, this space can be ideal for off-site business retreats, meetings, small-format presentations, or training sessions. Sorry, no weddings or personal celebrations.
Additional highlights of the facility are a small stage, wall-mounted audio-visual screen, podium (no microphone), air-conditioning, a breakout room, restrooms, and a small prep kitchen. Users are responsible for providing any other audio-visual equipment they might need.
Fees and Reservations:
Use of the facility is through a suggested donation, which varies depending upon the duration and complexity of the event. These donations help the Museum defray the costs associated with setting up, heating/cooling, and maintaining the space. To discuss your event and to request a usage form, please call the Museum at 207.985.4802.

Catering:
Users of the Program Center space are responsible for arranging their own catering. The Museum can provide a list of caterers who have previously worked events in the Program Center space. Caterers must provide the Museum with a valid certificate of insurance prior to the event. Due to the nature of the historical buildings and collections contained therein, no smoking, open flames, sterno burners, etc. are permitted. To further ensure the success of the event, caterers are strongly encouraged to contact the Museum and/or arrange to view the space in advance.
Users of the Program Center space agree that the Museum will not be held liable for any personal injuries that might occur and agree to indemnify and hold the Museum, its members, employees, officers and directors harmless from any and all demands, claims, and actions relating thereto.
