Join Anne B. Gass, author of the book Voting Down the Rose as she presents a panel with several older women who were active in the women’s rights movement. They will discuss not only their roles but also the sexual discrimination that was faced in their struggle. A relevant panel and discussion to have in the post Women’s March era.
This talk will begin at 5:30 PM in the yellow Program Center building, directly behind the Museum. This lecture is free for Museum members and $10 for general audience. The Third Thursday Talks are supported by the Maine Humanities Council and the Captain Lord Mansion. Light refreshments will be served.
