Eliot Cutler, two-time gubernatorial candidate and current CEO of the Maine Center for Graduate Professional Studies, will speak on “Aspiration and Education: Maine’s Future at Stake” at the Brick Store Museum’s June Third Thursday Talk on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 5:30pm in the Museum’s Program Center at 4 Dane Street.
Cutler is an entrepreneur and business leader employing his skills within the University of Maine System to create a model for multi-disciplinary graduate business and legal programs to help drive statewide economic development. His career also includes twice running as an independent candidate for governor of Maine; and he served as the Associate Director for Natural Resources, Energy and Science in the Office of Management and Budget in the Carter Administration.
Third Thursday Talks are free to Museum Members, and $10 per person for general admission at the door. Light refreshments will be served. Eliot Cutler will be followed by “Voting Down the Rose: Women’s History Panel” by Anne Gass on July 20. The Third Thursday Talks are generously supported by the Maine Humanities Council.
