All of us need to carefully consider how our hard work will benefit our loved ones and the community we care about.  Knowing that our estates will be supporting the people and institutions that are dear to us is the goal of estate planning.  The subject can challenge our understanding and is often difficult to discuss.  But careful planning can help minimize taxes and ensure that our wishes are carried out.

The Brick Store Museum is delighted to extend an invitation to area residents to hear three experts from the local law firm of Bergen & Parkinson in an informal discussion of what you need to consider when planning your estate.  Join Wayne Adams, Milda Castner and Brin Richer to learn about Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, Wills, Maine Probate Procedures and Estate Taxation.  The program will allow time for questions and one-on-one discussions.

The seminar is in the Museum Program Center on Tuesday, May 13 from 10am – noon.  Admission is free.  Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Reservations are not required, but we invite you to RSVP via the online form below.
