Brick Store Museum
The Brick Store Museum is one of only 21 museums in the United States to be opened by a single woman. Edith Barry founded the Museum in 1936; it has since become the only privately funded museum in the State of Maine that is open regular hours year-round. In order to deliver our mission of igniting personal connections to local history, art and culture through education, we must raise significant funds each year to continue this work.
The Fall Auction will run from Saturday, September 30th through Friday, October 20th. We’ll announce the website link via this page soon! If you’d like a reminder sent directly to your inbox, please sign up for our e-newsletter, here!
Will you consider donating a service, a gift, a piece of art, an object or an experience to the Auction? Our success depends on you!
Your donation will be recognized as an in-kind, tax-deductible donation to the Brick Store Museum. Before, during and after the auction, you will be recognized as a donor to the Museum’s online auction and a partner in the Museum’s educational mission in the community.
Interesting food items, experiences (visit to a museum, weekend stay, dinner for two, etc.), antiques and other unique items are the most popular gifts. Anything will be considered, so let us know your ideas for auction items! Call Cynthia Walker at (207)985-4802 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your thoughts, or return the form attached. Your donation will be acknowledged with a tax receipt stating the full value of your gift. We truly look forward to working with you to bring history and art to life in the 21st Century!
