Classic Kennebunk Field Day

Location: Museum’s Lawns!
Everyone should take part! Invite your friends, neighbors, family and friends to join you at the Classic Kennebunk Field Day! It’ll be like the classic community gatherings of old, where you’ll find artists, demonstrations, local organizations, historic games and activities, and the 3rd Maine Regiment to talk with visitors about life in the 1860s!
All of these activities, free and open to the public, offer a glimpse at culture in Kennebunk – yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
This free family field day takes place on the Museum’s lawns (NOTE: change of location from Parsons Field) will feature vendors, artists, Museum activities and local organizations, including:
+ 3rd Maine Regiment (reenactors)
+ Handwriting yoga (give it a try!)
+ Kennebunk Basketry
+ Metalwork & Bike Part Art!
+ Garden Tours of the Community Garden at 11am and 12pm!
+ Pamomile Soaps!
+ Make-your-own Kites and pinwheels!
+ The Kennebunk Inclusion Project
+ Foods of the Kennebunks
+ Historic Games: Graces, croquet, ring toss, and more!
+ Historic District Walking Tours
+ Oral History Booth!
Food vendors will offer picnic food (for purchase) to guests.
