Sometimes things are better when SHARED. The Museum is collecting stories from 1968 for our upcoming summer exhibition, 1968. On Wednesday, April 11th, from 6:00pm – 7:00pm, we’re hosting our first open sharing session. As a group, we’ll discuss and share our own experiences about that volatile year.
The program will be led by Cynthia Walker, the Museum’s director, who will begin with a short introduction and lead with a few questions to get the conversation started. Whether you were a child, a student, an adult, or can share stories from your older family members, please join us to share your experiences.
The session will be recorded so that Museum staff can use the information in the exhibition, as well as archive the discussion for future generations.
The discussion is FREE to attend. Refreshments provided. RSVP is suggested, but not required: please contact Caroline Brown at email@example.com OR (207)985-4802.
