We believe.

100% of the Museum's Board of Trustees has made gift commitments to the Connecting Generations Capital Campaign. We hope that you too will understand the value in maintaining this increasingly valuable link to our past. What you do today is your legacy for tomorrow.

A Message from the Honorary Co-Chairs

President George H. W. Bush and Mrs. Barbara Bush

It is difficult--if not impossible--to put a value on the treasures cared for by The Brick Store Museum. For 70 years, locals and tourists alike have appreciated the Museum's remarkable artifacts and various activities.

We both have enjoyed countless programs and exhibitions at the Museum over the years and are well aware of its priceless history and the challenges and opportunities it faces as a cultural institution. Therefore it gives us great pleasure to serve as Honorary Co-Chairs of The Brick Store Museum's Connecting Generations Capital Campaign.

The Kennebunks hold a special place in our hearts as a gathering place for our family. Here we reconnect with friends and neighbors, reliving memories and creating new ones. In many ways, The Brick Store Museum serves the same purpose for us all, whether you're a year-round resident or a summer visitor. Just as artifacts reflecting our family's history at Walker's Point are represented in the Museum's collections, so too are the stories of countless others. It is with fine institutions like The Brick Store Museum that we preserve, protect and interpret our times for the generations that follow.

George and Barbara Bush
