For more than 150 years, the four buildings that comprise The Brick Store Museum's Main Street facade have been a distinctive part of the Kennebunks’ commercial landscape. In fact, prior to the Museum’s founding in 1936 in what was once a dry goods store, the museum block had contained such things as a telegraph office, rooming house, restaurant, library, grocery store, and automotive repair shop. All this is to say that while our towns have seen dramatic changes over the years, the constant remains that we are all making a mark in our community’s story of commerce. The Museum is the steward of hundreds of photographs, documents, and artifacts that record our area’s business heritage from the earliest days to the present. Regardless of whether a business has been around for a few months or a few generations, it plays a key role in the fabric of our community and has a story worth preserving. The Museum remains very appreciative of the general support from local businesses, and there are many more who would likely become new supporters of the Museum if only asked…

Annual Levels of Support:

Tradesmen Society $150.00
- Business Partner Program membership card in the name of your business, granting the bearer up to four (4) additional guests complimentary admission to the Museum per visit, plus a 10% discount on Museum Shop purchases.
- Invitations to all member events.
- Subscription to the Museum's monthly e-newsletter, distributed to as many contacts within your business as you wish to receive it.
- Five (5) guest passes, customized and co-branded with your logo - perfect for customers, employee recognition, client gifts, and VIPS! Each single-use pass is valid for two complimentary admissions to the Museum, and a 10% discount on Museum Shop purchases.
- Recognition in all published donor listings
- Your company's brochures displayed in the Museum rack, specifically designating you as a "Proud Business Partner."
- Listing in association with the Business Partner Program both on the Museum's website (www.brickstoremuseum.org) and on its Facebook page, complete with a link to your site.
- A subject folder established and maintained for your business in the Local History files of the Museum's Archives Center.
Shipbuilding Society $300.00
- All of the Tradesmen Society privileges, plus:
- Five (5) additional guest passes (a total of 10).
- A special, admission-free day and/or extended hours for the community. The Museum will set the date, make all the arrangements, and credit you in all the publicity. You will have an opportunity to provide business collateral onsite during this event.
- One complimentary use of the Museum's Program Center at 4 Dane Street for your business-related event.
Manufacturing Society $500.00
- All of the Shipbuilding Society privileges, plus:
- Five additional guest passes (a total of 15).
- Listing in association with the Business Partner Program on the Museum's website, complete with your logo.
- One additional complimentary use (a total of 2 bookings) of the Museum's Program Center at 4 Dane Street.
- One complimentary use of the Museum's gallery space for a business-related reception.
- Sponsorship of The History Showcase, a thematic display case offering three to four mini-exhibitions per year.
Mercantile Society $1000.00
- All of the Manufacturing Society privileges, plus:
- Five additional guest passes (a total of 20).
- One additional complimentary use (a total of 3 bookings) of the Museum's Program Center at 4 Dane Street.
- One additional complimentary use (a total of 2 bookings) of the Museum's gallery space for a business-related reception.
- One customized, behind-the-scenes tour for up to 10 people.
- Sponsor of the Museum's monthly e-newsletter, credited in all issues.
- Co-sponsor of all exhibitions mounted during the year. Sponsorship will be credited in the gallery and in all promotional materials.

Payment options are via cash, check (made out to The Brick Store Museum) or credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover).
Memberships are on an annual basis, renewable on the anniversary of your initially joining the Museum. Reminder notices are sent out one month prior to your membership coming due. The Brick Store Museum is a 501(c)3 educational institution, and contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
