In the middle of the 19th century Kennebunk photographer Albion Moody opened for business and began taking photographs of local families, their children, and even their pets! Albion was often assisted by his daughter Lillian who is in a number of his photographs. While the Brick Store Museum has a large number of Albion’s photographs and glass plate negatives many of them are not labeled leaving the subjects of the photograph unknown. That’s where you come in. You can help the Brick Store Museum by browsing through the Albion Moody photos we have listed here and letting us know if you recognize any of the subjects. If you see someone you recognize you can give our archivist Leanne Hayden a call at 207-985-4802 or you can email her at [email protected] Let us know which photograph you recognize and tell us who it may be. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
The Brick Store Museum is a private non-profit museum.
