Between Autumn and Spring

Between Autumn and Spring depicted the intrinsic beauty of a Maine winter by featuring 33 pieces by 24 contemporary area artists and 14 works from The Brick Store Museum’s permanent collection. The artworks encompassed a wide range of popular mediums, including photography, oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache, collage and printmaking.

Area artists represented in the exhibition were the following: Geraldine Aikman, Anne Gable Allaire, E. F. Tina Ambrose, Beverly Ruth Bader, Janet Bouma, Dee Smart Burdick, Anthony J. D’Alessandro, Nancy Davison, Patrick DeSantis, Jill Disque, Katherine Doyle, Kenneth Eason, Carl Frechette, Louise Frechette, Joseph Havens, Dewitt Hardy, Stan Moeller, Dennis Perrin, Philip Rogers, Sandy St. Clair, Randi Taylor, Anne Marie Therrien, Michael C. Walek, and Linda Thorndike Williams.

Exhibited from the permanent collections of The Brick Store Museum were works by the following artists, who either lived in or had close ties to the Kennebunks: Peggy Bacon, Edith Cleaves Barry, Mitch Billis, Mildred G. Burrage, Ralph H. Lein, Louis D. Norton, Michael Palmer, Edna L. Perkins, Sarah Cleaves Lord Barry Perkins, and Helen Siegl.
