Indian Arrowheads, 3000 to 400 Years Before Present.
Brick Store Museum Collection, Gift of Theodore W. Dwight, Jr., 2005
These are not modern day implements but rather are characterized as Paleo-Indian. Their dates range from Archaic (greater than 3000 years Before Present) to Levanna Late Woodland (circa 400-1000 years Before Present).
They were unearthed in 1909-1910 at Riverhurst, the coastal estate located in Kennebunk, Maine, near Parsons Beach at the mouth of the Mousam River.
