HISTORY SHOWCASE | Use It Up, Wear It Out, Make It Do or Do Without: The Material Culture of World War IIspacer bar

The Brick Store Museum will focus its History Showcase on the artifacts in its collections pertaining to World War II. The Museum holds one of the largest collections of war posters in the Northeast. World War II changed many things in American society, including how we saved, reused, and rationed objects to contribute to the war effort.

Featured in the showcase are war posters, ration books, men's and women's navy uniforms, items from the home front, and more.

This History Showcase is made possible by our Proud Business Partners the Captain Jefferds Inn and the Captain Lord Mansion.
