Spring is officially here, and with it comes the results of a lot of planning at the Museum over these winter months.  We're particularly excited about Vines in the Vaults, an all-new event coming up on April 24th.  Read all about it--and more--below.  Here's hoping we'll see you soon, whether it's on the grounds, around the galleries, or in the vaults!

Local Restaurant Teams Up with Museum for Rewards
Duffy's Tavern & Grill

Duffy's Tavern & Grill has just launched "Duffy's Favorites," allowing customers to earn points for every dollar spent at the popular restaurant, which opened in downtown Kennebunk's historic Lafayette Center in 2008.

Points accrued by Duffy's Favorites translate to goodies and incentives offered at Duffy's and at participating businesses like the Brick Store Museum. Tracy Baetz, the museum's executive director, said, "Duffy's has found a creative way to reward customer loyalty and to highlight its Main Street neighbors. We're really pleased to be part of the roll-out of Duffy's Favorites." Visit Duffy's for all the details and to start accruing your points.

And, while you're enjoying your meal at Duffy's, be sure to check out the photographs on the walls! Owner David "Duffy" Cluff and his staff worked with the Museum to select many of the historical images, reprinted from the Museum's archival collections, to pay homage to the restaurant's former use as the Kesslen shoe mill.
The Brick Store Museum is located at 117 Main Street in the heart of Kennebunk's National Register Historic District. For more than 70 years, the Museum has been dedicated to preserving the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Kennebunks. Its galleries and research archives are open year-round (closed holidays), Tuesdays-Fridays, 10-4:30 and Saturdays, 10-1. Admission is by donation; suggested $5/person. For more information, check us out at www.brickstoremuseum.org, or give us a call at 207.985.4802.
