Openings Available for Vacation Workshop for Kids
To coincide with the schools' upcoming winter vacation, children ages 8 to 12 are invited to spend a fun and educational time at the Museum on Wed., Feb. 21 participating in a hands-on workshop focusing on the centuries-old tradition of reverse painting on glass. Cost is $15 per camper ($12 for Museum members). Choose from a morning (9 AM to noon) or afternoon (1 - 4 PM) session--spaces still available in either one! The Brick Store Museum is located at 117 Main Street in the heart of Kennebunk's National Register Historic District. For more than 70 years, the Museum has been dedicated to preserving the Kennebunks' rich cultural and artistic heritage. Its gallery and research archives are open year-round (closed holidays), Tuesdays-Fridays, 10-4:30 and Saturdays, 10-1. Admission is by donation; suggested $5/person. |

Greetings! This article represents the debut of a regular new "feature" of our e-newsletter. Beginning with this edition, each trustee will take a turn as a guest columnist, using this space to introduce you to a timely topic about your Museum.
It's my pleasure as President of the Board of Trustees to pen this inaugural article on something that's near and dear to my heart and to the success of the Museum: Volunteers and Volunteerism.
